The One Muscle You Should Be Training At Home

You know that now more than ever, it’s important to move. An active lifestyle for our members has always been our #1 goal for you here at American Family Fitness. And with our recent partnership with Mossa Move that delivers workouts straight to your mobile device, you can keep moving as we #stayathome waiting out this pandemic. In the spirit of keeping our bodies active, there’s one muscle that we suggest training the most during this downtime – your brain.

Challenging our minds by learning new skills or information can help you maintain a sense of normalcy and purpose during this uncertain time. Learning something new also creates new neural pathways in the brain, improving the3 communication network within your brain which could ultimately help prevent dementia and other related illnesses. Plus, having a goal to work towards by enrolling in an online certification can give you purpose and expand your outlook on life!
